Free Tax Preparation with AARP Tax-Aide in Idaho for 2025
Tax season can be stressful, but if you’re looking for free, IRS-certified tax assistance in Idaho, the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program is here to help! This program is designed to assist taxpayers with low to moderate income, and you do not need to be an AARP member to take advantage of these services.
When and Where to Get Free Tax Help
The Tax-Aide program will run from February 1 to April 15, 2025, at multiple locations. There is one walk-in site and four appointment-only sites to choose from:

To ensure a smooth and efficient tax preparation process, please bring the following documents: ✅ Social Security Card (for you and anyone else on your tax return)
✅ Government-Issued Photo ID (for you and your spouse, if applicable)
✅ All 2024 Income Documents (W-2s, 1099s, etc.)
✅ Completed Tax-Aide Envelope & TY2024 Intake/Interview Booklet (Pick one up at any site before your appointment)
✅ Last Year’s Tax Return (TY2023) (If available)
