Boise Mobile Vet Center Coming to Rupert Aug. 25
Veterans, service members and military families in the Rupert area will have an opportunity to connect with benefits, counseling and local resources when the Boise Mobile Vet Center visits Rupert on Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
The Mobile Vet Center will be available from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Mini-Cassia Veterans Service Office, 625 Fremont Avenue in Rupert, Idaho.
The visit gives veterans and their families a convenient opportunity to speak directly with Vet Center staff and learn more about services available to them.
Free Support for Veterans and Military Families
The Boise Vet Center provides confidential support to veterans, service members and eligible family members.
During the Rupert visit, staff can help attendees:
- Connect with local resources and services
- Learn more about VA benefits
- Get information about the PACT Act
- Learn about VA Community Care
- Find support during the transition from military to civilian life
- Access confidential, private and cost-free counseling options
- Build connection, camaraderie and community
Bringing the Mobile Vet Center directly to Rupert can make it easier for veterans in Mini-Cassia and surrounding communities to connect with help without making the trip to Boise.
Confidential Counseling Support
The Vet Center also offers counseling support related to qualifying military experiences, including:
- PTSD and military sexual trauma
- Combat or hostile-area service
- Humanitarian or civil-unrest call-ups
- Family readjustment related to military trauma
- Other qualifying military experiences
Vet Center counseling services are confidential, private and cost-free for those who qualify.
