The event, hosted by Adriana Jimenez, the General Manager of Golden Corral Boise, saw a remarkable gathering of distinguished guests and committed community members. Among them were DAV-Idaho Commander W.D. ‘Bill’ Oehler, Golden Corral Committee Chairman 2023/24 Freddie White, DAV-Idaho Treasurer Ron Tolman, and Golden Corral Representative Fred. Wayne Del Mitchel, the Golden Corral Boise Chairman for 2023, was also in attendance, playing a pivotal role in the afternoons success.
The event not only highlighted the collaborative spirit between Golden Corral and the DAV Idaho but also underscored the generosity of the citizens of Ada County. Through the dedicated efforts of all involved, a remarkable $7,600 was raised for the Military Appreciation Funds, a testament to the community’s unwavering support for our veterans.
As the afternoon unfolded, stories of courage, sacrifice, and resilience were shared, reminding everyone of the invaluable contributions our servicemen and women make to our nation. The funds raised will go a long way in supporting various initiatives aimed at helping veterans and their families.
