Celebrating Our Statewide Community

At the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) of Idaho, our strength lies in our chapters. Each chapter represents a unique part of our veteran community, offering support, advocacy, and camaraderie across the state. Today, we’re proud to introduce these chapters, showcasing the diverse and dedicated groups that make up the DAV of Idaho.

Carrie L. French – Chapter 1 (Caldwell)A beacon of support in Caldwell, Chapter 1 meets at 1101 Cleveland Blvd. Led by Commander Frederick White, this chapter exemplifies dedication to veteran advocacy and community service.

Chapter 2 (Boise)In the heart of Boise, Chapter 2 gathers at 50 W Fort Street, Building 54. Commander W. Hilderbrand and the team are committed to empowering veterans through various initiatives and programs.

Stradley – Chapter 5 (Pocatello and Twin Falls)With locations in Pocatello and Twin Falls, Chapter 5 serves a broad community. Commander Wesley Jones in Pocatello and the team in Twin Falls focus on enhancing the lives of veterans through meaningful engagement and support.

Yellowstone – Chapter 6 (Idaho Falls)Chapter 6, led by Commander Oscar Crober, meets at 157514 Skyline Dr in Idaho Falls. This chapter is known for its active involvement in veteran affairs and community outreach.

Fort Sherman – Chapter 9 (Post Falls)Post Falls’ Chapter 9, under Commander Shelton Bordelon, meets at 1138 E Poleline Ave. This chapter is a hub for veteran support and advocacy in the region.

MiniCassia – Chapter 10 (Rupert)Rupert’s Chapter 10, led by Commander Harley Goodwin, gathers at 12 and D St. The chapter is dedicated to providing comprehensive support to veterans and their families.

Chapter 13 (Nampa)Nampa’s Chapter 13, commanded by Clark Rob Torell, meets at 916 12th Ave S. This chapter is a cornerstone of veteran support in the Nampa community.

Jim MacNamara – Chapter 17 (Mountain Home)In Mountain Home, Chapter 17, led by Commander Richard Appleton, meets at 515 2nd St, War Memorial Hall. The chapter is known for its strong community presence and veteran advocacy.

Chapter 18 (Lewiston)Lewiston’s Chapter 18, under Commander John Zeller, gathers at 920 Bryden Ave. This chapter focuses on creating a supportive environment for veterans and their families.

Albert W. Jardine – Chapter 22 (Boise)Another chapter in Boise, Chapter 22, led by Commander Harvey Dixon, meets at 8460 Emerald St. This chapter is active in various veteran support initiatives.

Payette Co. – Chapter 23 (New Plymouth)New Plymouth’s Chapter 23, commanded by Owen Spurling, meets at 114 Plymouth Ave. The chapter is dedicated to serving the veteran community with a range of support services.

Chapter 28 (Bonners Ferry)In Bonners Ferry, Chapter 28, led by Commander Michael Spurgeon, gathers at 6635 Lincoln St. This chapter is known for its commitment to veteran welfare and community engagement.
