This year, the Toys for Tots program in Southeastern Idaho is switching to an online application process to make it easier for families in need to request holiday gifts for their children. Run by the Marine Corps League Detachment #698, this program brings joy and hope to local families during the holiday season. Last year, over 4,100 children received gifts, and the goal is to help even more this year.

How to Apply for Toys for Tots 2024

Applying online is simple. Just follow these steps to get started:

  1. Visit the Website: Go to https://pocatello–id.toysfortots.org or use the QR code provided by the campaign.
  2. Request a Toy: Scroll down and select the “Request a Toy” button.
  3. Agree to the Terms: Review the user agreement, and choose “Yes” to accept it.
  4. Fill Out the Form: Complete the form with information about each child who needs a gift.
  5. Enter the Code: You will see a red code on the form. Enter it in the designated box.
  6. Submit the Form: Click the “Submit” button to send your request.
  7. Check Your Email: You should receive a confirmation email. If you don’t see it, check your Spam folder.

Important: Applications are due by the last Friday in November, which is November 29, 2024.

The North Idaho Veterans Assistance League is offering a special way to honor veterans and support the North Idaho Veterans Home through their Flag Walk Brick Program. By purchasing a personalized, engraved brick, you can pay tribute to a loved one, veteran, or organization while contributing to the programs that benefit the veterans at the home.

For a $200 donation, individuals, families, businesses, and corporations can purchase a brick that will be permanently placed along the Flag Walk at the North Idaho Veterans Home in Post Falls, Idaho. This is a unique opportunity to leave a lasting legacy while showing your support for those who have served our country.

How to Participate:

To order a personalized brick, simply fill out the Flag Walk Brick Order Form with your desired inscription. Each brick offers the opportunity to include a message, such as honoring a veteran, family name, business, or organization. Examples of inscriptions could be:
